Description

Thirteen Boy Scouts from Troop 207 pose for a photograph in front of a mountain and their camp site in New Mexico. This was taken during a trip in 1971, when the Scouts went to spend twelve days hiking and mountain climbing. Other highlighted trips were to Ely, Minnesota in 1969, 1970, and 1972 to go canoeing.

Left to right: Brian Grassi, Tom Slade, Terry Vorbich, Tony Catalano, Dick Ball, Steve Mitchell, Doug Dee, Rick Bishop, Tim Slade, Mike Strabala, Rick Jansen, Doug Schapiro, and Jeff Shalla.

Men who are not pictured but also attended as chaperones include Scoutmaster Richard Shaffer, Russell Slade, and Brian Grassi (Lovetinsky et al., p. 69).
