Returned library materials sit in quarantine in the Coralville Public Library rotunda, April 20, 2020

Dublin Core

Description

Several tables are set up in the Coralville Public Library rotunda, each loaded with stacks of books and other library materials. The Circulation Desk can be seen in the left far corner; in the right, another table holds cleaning supplies.

During the public closure of the Coralville Public Library due to the pandemic, patrons are still welcome to return any checked out items to the library. As a way to make the check-in process safer for library staff, these materials are first quarantined for 72 hours before being cleaned, checked back in, and made available for out-going circulation.
