Some selections from a journal written and kept during the spring of 2020, when concerns about the spread of COVID-19 led to the shut down of many businesses and the mandate that all but essential workers remain at home.
Through these selections, the journal author navigates thoughts about the construct of a society reliant on wealth, as well as their own mental health during a time when quiet days and routines fail to mask underlying fears and emotional stress.
