Masks are like..., 2020
Dublin Core
Title
Description
A short poem reflecting on masks and how they are normalized as part of our daily routine.
Text:Masks are like…
Masks are like a shirt. There is the one that fits best. There is the one with the company logo and the one with the expressive/funny graphic. Like a shirt you won’t get service without having one on.
Masks are like a set of keys. They are grabbed on the way out the door. They are stashed in hidey holes just in case. They grant entrance through doors.
Masks are like lip gloss. Once used they aren't safely shared.
