Description

"As an adoptee, I feel like a lot of people will go through different periods of their life where they are very interested in their adoption, and then they're very like, "I don't want to ever think about this and think about why, and I don't want to think about any of the implications from it." And then you just go back and forth between those throughout your life." For Leah, some of these different periods came when she experienced bullying as a child, had to confront her own family about race, and dealt with the ramifications of heightened racism against Asians during COVID.
